This is doing Text on a Curve. You may need to play with the curve to figure out where it lands. You can also rotate it once it on the curve.

G-Code Trading Post / Surprise Shape
« on: September 18, 2013, 04:43:43 AM »
Do you like surprises? :o Well I enjoy a good one.  ;)
Go found a scrap piece of 1/4" plywood and cut out half dozen of these shapes. It will take 8 1/2" square for one. They will interlock to make a solid surface and looks cool.
Oh by the way, you will need to use a 1/8" straight bit.

Last weekend I cut out 90 pieces for a guy to make a bar top. If you want the g-code to cut out more than one or the BobCAD file, e-mail me.

If you cut them out, let me know what you think.

Hello everyone
I have found a new Mach3 screen that I like every much. This is the web site where you can download it. The site also tells you how to load it.
This site has a lot of info about CNC if you want to dig around.

Have fun and play with it.

BobCAD Information / Setting your Post in BobCAD
« on: June 09, 2011, 05:22:16 AM »
To make sure BobCAD will produce the right G-code you will need to set your Post Processor.

First make sure the DWC post is in the right folder. You simply copy the attached MillPst to this location on your hard drive.

C:\BobCAD-CAM Data\BobCAD-CAM V24\Posts\Mill

Then set your post to that file. See attached PDF.
