1911 stocks g-code help
« on: October 18, 2013, 07:54:18 AM »
I'd like to make plain 1911 grips on my DWC to be used for custom carving blanks.  I do not have BobCAD so the curved Z-axis part of this escapes me.

Does anyone have 1911 stocks g-code to share?  :)

The file opened in USB CNC and looks good.  Haven't run it yet.  Private message on it's way :)

Who can help with Mach 3?
« Reply #4 on: October 18, 2013, 06:10:40 PM »
So now I have g-code for Mach 3 but am using CNC USB on my Digital Woodcarver.  The g-code is very different from what I've looked at before.  There is no feed rate called out and no Z axis data.

Does this need to be, and can it be, converted to run CNC USB?

Here's a snippet to show what I'm seeing.
