Milling Taper
« on: March 27, 2014, 12:28:44 PM »
We are trying to turn spindles that have a taper from center to end on the 4th axis. We create the model and everything seems correct, but when we wrap it, the taper is gone and all we have is a straight spindle.  Can anyone offer insights?

In the machine shop, we would offset the tail stock on a lathe to turn a taper.  That would be a good hardware option if available.
