Hello from North Dakota
« on: February 10, 2017, 02:21:52 PM »
I'm Dan from North Dakota.  I teach school for a career and would love to make wood carving my part time gig.   I just got my machine and have had a few trial and error pieces already, but I find myself constantly thinking of ideas for signs catered to my friends and family.  I am also in search of the best signs to create for craft fairs.   I look forward to talking to you in the future.

"Best" sign is
A. what appeals to women
B. what women like
C. what women think men like

Lots of people are making signs but I don't think I've ever sold a sign to a man unless his wife sent him.  LOL
Chainsaw carvings, sawmill services, and CNC routing.

I totally agree with Butch! Please her and you will please him. If you haven't learned Laney's Text on text technique yet, you have got to go to a woodworking seminar where he is speaking and get it down. He was going to make a video and post it on youtube but I don't know if that has happened yet.
